An immersive experience developed by Eventagrate Software & Technology for the launch of the EDGE Group for their highly esteemed guests to enjoy, featuring four complete acts of animated content on a massive display along with holographic visuals, lasers and drone effects. In this case study I present my contribution as one of the creative leads of this project.
Given about a month and a half of work to bring to life, the EDGE Launch Show is one of the most exciting and challenging projects I've worked on to date.
As one of the creative leads on the project, I was involved in this project from the conceptual/storyboarding stage, worked on 3D graphical content and animations as well as testing the holographic technology, up until the show day.
C O N C E P T
When the EDGE Group globally launched their company, and we had the pleasure of working with them side by side to share their vision and mission with the audience. That vision was to show the future technology of the world's defence industry.
During this time, I worked, along with the team, to create a grand launch ceremony for EDGE. Featuring four acts packed with immersive content, the first one being about the history of the UAE and growth of the people, the second one being about their accomplishments over the years, the third one being about innovation and the values of EDGE, and finally, the fourth act reveals the hologram in all its glory, with content reflecting an ideal future of what EDGE would bring to the UAE and the world.
T E C H N I C A L S P E C I F I C A T I O N S
The venue included a state-of-the-art Hologram Stage for the main presentation space, with 3 large LED displays, arranged in a curve, spanning over 20m in width (with 30m of content), and a 10m Holographic display in the center, using a holographic film with the Pepper's Ghost technique. The experience was further enhanced by drones, LED strips and lasers.
